Jamet trailer tents were not always branded as Jamet. Early models were branded as 'AJC', and were named along an American theme, in spite of the fact that they were manufactured in France, with models such as the AJC Nevada and AJC Sierra. The 'AJC', in this instance, stood for Andre Jamet Company.

 

Unfortunately, AJC no longer exists, and current Jamet models are, now, manufactured by Trigano, also in France, however, they have retained the American themed model names. Trigano are a little bit of an enigma, insofar as they deal, exclusively, through a network of resellers, and, as such, there are no contact details given for the company, anywhere, not on their web site, brochures or anywhere you would expect to see them.

 

What we do know about them is that they have been manufacturing trailer tents for over 40 years, and their current design and production facilities are in their Mamaers plant, in the Sarthe region of France.

 

As a result, we have included the contact details of Camperlands in Manchester. They seem to be the largest Trigano / Jamet dealer in the UK, and they certainly seem to have the most information on their web site.
