The Fiesta is the longest running model in the Pennine range, with a production history from 1990, right up to the present day, and, as such, it is the model that has most changed, over the years, to the extent that it now has its own toilet compartment. Consequently, some of the specifications, in terms of weights and dimensions, have changed significantly, also, and, hence, we have included two figures, where ever possible, above. Where relevant, the top figure is for the original Pennine Fiesta, and the lower figure is for the current Fiesta. We have also included all relevant Pennine brochures, so you can check out the specifications for your own specific model.
The basic, four berth, layout of the Fiesta, however, has not changed, with a door at the rear, kitchen at the front and a settee / double bed on either side.
When it was introduced, in 1990, the Fiesta featured a fixed settee on either side, with a standard, permanent double bed behind. Although a popular layout, where both double beds could be left permanently made up, some felt that it did have the slight disadvantage of being a little short on living space, as much of the internal footprint was taken up by the two settees.
As a result, in 1996, Pennine introduced the Fiesta 2 + 2. This model was very similar to the original Fiesta, but with only one fixed settee, and one permanent double bed. In order to create extra space, the second (and much larger) settee was made up from the second bed, which was an ideal layout for a couple looking for a bit of extra space, but with the added flexibility of four berth accommodation, when required. For a while, the two versions of the Fiesta were produced side by side, however, once Pennine acquired Conway the opposing settee version was lost, in favour of, or, arguably, re badged as, the Conway Countryman.
In 2011, when the new models and acrylic canvases were introduced, the Fiesta changed it's name, again, to the Fiesta Quartz 2 + 2. Two years later, it was back to the Fiesta Q 2 + 2. Shortly after, it was upgraded to include a dedicated toilet compartment, with cassette toilet. This has received mixed reviews, as the extra facilities are highly welcome, but have been described as claustrophobic, by some, and do come at the expense of some of the kitchen space.
As Blue Sky have always dealt in Pennines, this site, as well as the Blue Sky blog already include quite a lot of information on the Fiesta, and there is little point in reproducing it all here. For anyone wishing to find out more about these excellent folding campers, you can do so as follows:

The images in the gallery, and below, chart the changes, chronologically, in the model, both internally and externally, from the basic 1990's model, to the current specification unit, c/w toilet compartment.
Although RRP for 2017 has now increased to £12,495, the actual selling price is, currently, £10,595.
