Model Summary:
Unit Type:
The Sunncamp Holiday range is comprised of a number of models, each containing the word 'holiday', followed by a number (representing the awning depth in cm) and either 'S', or 'SE'.
The Holidays are, normally, thought of as an entry level model. This is not down to build quality, but, more, equipment levels, which, by modern standards are, relatively, basic. The SE model does include a kitchen which is basic, but functional, but neither model includes items such as additional internal storage (under seat lockers are provided) or zip in ground sheet. In spite of this entry level reputation, owner satisfaction appears to be very high and resale prices remain bouyant.
Most Holidays are distinguished by their protruding kitchen area on the right hand side (viewed from the front). Early models were, primarily produced in green and white or blue and white, with later, acrylic, models being, primarily a two tone grey and white. All models seem to have shared the same geometrical patterned curtains and soft furnishings, throughout their life, making them a little difficullt to date, based, purely, on outward appearance.
The Holiday 350 is in the middle of the Holiday range, with, as the name suggest, an awning depth of 350cm, and an overall width, of 420cm. The 350 was one of the earlier models, and does not appear in any of the more recent brochures or paperwork. It is unconfirmed, but logical to assume that it was superceded by the Holiday 400, which appears to be a newer version of the 350, although there was a degree of overlap of the two models.
The Holiday 350 appears to have come in three different incarnations, during its lifetime. The very first examples of the marque (pictures 1 - 3) were produced in the tri colour scheme of blue, green and grey. Notably, these early versions did not have the annex on the right hand side, for the kitchen unit, etc, but they did have internal toilet and wardbrobe compartments adjacent to a recessed kitchen area. The second generation Holiday 350 (pictures 4 - 6) came in a distinctive green, blue and yellow livery, and did feature the annex for the kitchen, toilet and wardrobe. The final incarnation (images below) was, again, a tri colour scheme of light and dark green, plus beige, with the distinctive annex for the facilities.
Included in the Paperwork section, above are the setup instructions for a Sunncamp 240, as, to all intents and purposes, the models were the same, simply with different depths of awning. Also included is a copy of the pole diagram for the Holiday 350. As and when we come across any more literature specifically aimed at the 350, we will be sure to upload it ASAP. Also, please note; the weights and dimensions are, also, for the newer Holiday models, which may, or may not, be the same as the original 350 specifications. They are unlikely to be too far out, if at all, but are given, here, only as a general guide, for anyone looking to acquire one.
