The Venture was produced, by Sunncamp, in the late 2000's (specifically, it would appear, 2006 to 2009) although it never appeared in any of their literature, or on their web site. Sunncamp have a reputation for providing budget models, although this is not, always a well founded reputation, however, in the case of the Venture, it was, definitely, justified.
Unlike many of its competitors, it did not utilise quality ten cate canvas, preferring, instead, to go for unbranded Chinese imported canvas. Likewise, the main poles were 24mm, as opposed to the industry standard 32mm. The camper was, also, extremely basic in its construction, and was devoid of some 'standard; features, such as electricity and hot water, in its basic format, although they were all available as optional extras.
To be fair, the model seems to have retailed at around £4,000, including full awning, which is less than half the price of its competitors, so we do need to make some form of allowance for the standard of fittings.
At the moment, due to the limited availability of any paperwork or information on this model, the data above is pretty sparse, however, as with all other such models, any input or information from owners / users, is always greatly appreciated.
