Model Summary:
Unit Type:
The Sunncamp Holiday range is comprised of a number of models, each containing the word 'holiday', followed by a number (representing the awning depth in cm) and either 'S', or 'SE'.
The Holidays are, normally, thought of as an entry level model. This is not down to build quality, but, more, equipment levels, which, by modern standards are, relatively, basic. The SE model does include a kitchen which is basic, but functional, but neither model includes items such as additional internal storage (under seat lockers are provided) or zip in ground sheet. In spite of this entry level reputation, owner satisfaction appears to be very high and resale prices remain bouyant.
Most Holidays are distinguished by their protruding kitchen area on the right hand side (viewed from the front). Early models were, primarily produced in green and white or blue and white, with later, acrylic, models being, primarily a two tone grey and white. All models seem to have shared the same geometrical patterned curtains and soft furnishings, throughout their life, making them a little difficullt to date, based, purely, on outward appearance.
The Holiday 250 is the second shortest of the Holiday range, with, as the name suggest, an awning depth of 250cm, and an overall width, we believe, of 420cm. The 250 was one of the much earlier models, and does not appear in any of the more recent brochures or paperwork. It is unconfirmed, but logical to assume that it was superceded by the Holiday 240, which appears to be a newer version of the 250. Because the Holiday 250 was an older model, it did not use the same 'S' and 'SE' suffixes that later models used. Instead, it came in as the 250L, and the 250. The 'L' variant did not include a kitchen unit, whereas the 250 did. Also, neither model featured the trade mark protruding kitchen area of the majority of the Holiday models.
The early versions of this model appear to have been available in a tri colour; aquamarine and two tone grey (Pictures 1 - 4). Later models were available in a four colour scheme, of, again, aquamarine, but, this time, with yellow and blue sides, and a light grey roof (Pictures 8 - 9).
Included in the Paperwork section, above are the setup instructions for a Sunncamp 240, which is the closest to this model, currently available, as well as a pole diagram, for that same model. As and when we come across any literature specifically aimed at the 250, we will be sure to upload it ASAP. Also, please note; the weights and dimensions are, also, for the newer Holiday models, which may, or may not, be the same as the original 250 specifications. They are unlikely to be too far out, if at all, but are given, here, only as a general guide, for anyone looking to acquire one.
